My song is Sunday Bloody Sunday which was written by U2 on march 1983 in The Netherlands and in Germany. In this song U2 talks about the war.
In this song the have a main lexical field who exprim the war and her consequences like :
broken, bodies, bloody, dead, battle, many lost, torn, apart, tears, bloodshot, immune, fact,
millons cry, tomorrow they die, and victory.
I think that my song is protest because they have sentences which exprim it, like :
"I can't believe the news today"
"I can't close my eyes and make it go away"
"Broken bottles under children's feet"
And the sentence who was verry protest
"To claim the victory Jesus won"
With this sentences U2 show to disapprove the war .
In this song the rhetorical figures was:

Anaphoros "how long, how long must we sing this song ? How long, how long" and
"It puts my back up, Puts my back up" with this anaphoros U2 drew attention to how many time the war continu

Metaphor: <<I canít close my eyes and make it go away>>,U2 use this metaphor because he canít stop think about the war.
This song is verry beautiful because she exprim a subject verry important it's a song verry sad.
